'Hooiland' Field Research, De Bruuk, Groesbeek
The De Bruuk nature reserve is known for its unique blue grasslands. After the development of a large heath land area in the low part of Groesbeek, part of the grassland with wet meadows and scattered bushes remained intact. In 1940 De Bruuk received the official status of grassland reserve. The area has a variety of hay swamps, including the protected blue grasslands and field russet lands.
